Is This The End of The Episcopal Church?

Today, the Roman Catholic Church announced an apostolic constitution (Papal decree) to allow Anglicans, including Episcopalians, who are dissatisfied with the heretical actions of the Episcopal hierarchy, to reunite with the Catholic Church while retaining elements of the distinctive Anglican spiritual and liturgical patrimony.

I, like many Episcopalians, have considered many actions of the Episcopal hierarchy over the past 30 years to be acts of heresy to the point where they now constitute apostasy. I feel that the Episcopal church has made it clear that conservative orthodox views, such as mine, will no longer be tolerated. Also, like many Episcopalians, I have seriously considered a conversion to Roman Catholicism where conservative orthodox views are not only tolerated but are the requirement. For this reason, I believe today's announcement by the Roman Catholic Church, inviting Anglicans back into the Roman Catholic Church will have resounding historical effects, not the least of which may be the ultimate demise of the Episcopal Church.
