This is a topic that requires much more thought, analysis and discussion than I am affording it now. I hope to expound upon this later.
Over the past several years, Episcopal and Anglican priest, bishops and lay delegates have been making outrageous statements that are in complete contradiction of Biblical scriptures and, in particular, the Ten Commandments. We have heard that: "The resurrection of Christ is pure conjecture"; that "Jesus is not the only way to the father" That homosexuality is OK, and even a blessing; that abortion is "a blessing from God". And now we have an Anglican priest in York, UK advising his poorer parishioners to STEAL from large retail stores rather than turn to other forms of crime. Apparently this priest was not paying attention in seminary, and does not understand the eighth commandment that states: "THOU SHALT NOT STEAL".

Personally, I believe priests making statements such as this should be immediately excommunicated. If I were a manager in a corporation and made a disparaging statement about my corporation's brand, that caused my corporation international embarrassment and irreparable harm, I would be immediately terminated (even if I wasn't advocating a crime or mortal sin). Why should the church be run any differently? Thank the Lord for people like Ray Comfort who understands the word of God.
Mal 2:7 You priests should be eager to spread knowledge, and everyone should come to you for instruction, because you speak for me, the LORD All-Powerful.
Mal 2:8 But you have turned your backs on me. Your teachings have led others to do sinful things, and you have broken the agreement I made with your ancestor Levi. (CEV)

The link below leads to yet another example of the violation of first amendment freedom of speech rights of Christians violated by a government organization. Only the government could label a biblical belief as "obscene". Please follow this link to view the entire story
